These workshops establish a system, giving managers roscerti, innovative tools to unify and focus their staff and department. Real rosxetti drumset loops, midi sequenced and sampled drum loops, drumset with percussion loops, the drumset as an overdub instrument, and a combination of all four examples in one loop. First is The Rhythmic Guide, a breakdown of rhythms that can be applied to any given subdivision in any meter. Focus is on increasing your rhythmic vocabulary in an energetic, interactive, and supportive environment.
Designated parts are then demonstrated, rehearsed, and percussion majors perform on drum set, surdo, djembe, djun-djun, marimba, etc. Campers learn to groove on drumset, hand Drums, and hand percussion instruments.
Melodic and chanting vocals are incorporated, adding layers of dynamic improvisation and melody. The compositional emphasis is a hybrid of rhythmic phrases that can be turned into melodic lines and ostinatos. This three day hands-on approach to drumming provides a unique opportunity for students of all ages to come together and communicate through rhythm. Bass guitar accompanies day 2 and 3 for ensemble classes roscerti up to a final performance. This gives the attendees a better understanding of technique, time feel, rhythmic phrasing, vocal chanting, song form, improvisation and leading roscetyi ensemble.

Friends are invited to enjoy this day of fun and music, as students showcase their newly-developed rhythmic skills. Workshops can be tailored to explore one region of your choice, breaking down in depth its music, ensemble structures, and compositional practices. Rhythms are run down the Five Steps and demonstrated in a variety of styles Funk, Hip-Hop, Rock, Jazz and World Beat grooves on drum set and hand drums followed by interactive attendee participation from their seats. This includes a chanting choir and rhythmic vocal improvisation.

We begin with a general overview of World Music influenced by a variety of global regions, including Samba, Afro-Cuban, and Olodum. Objectives The first concept, The Rhythmic Guide, is a breakdown of rhythms that can be applied to any given rhythmic subdivision in any meter.
Parts and techniques for each instrument in the score are demonstrated including breaks, cues, dynamics, improvisation and rhythmic vocal trading and chanting. All instruments are provided on site.
Participants then join the ensemble on stage to experience playing the percussion score as a leader cues the breaks, dynamics, and trading of fours and vocal phrases within the ensemble. Audience members then repeat these rhythms in a call-and-answer pattern, alternating with Ed and Maria.
