Firstly, the plates bsrgue much smaller than the originals, which means that they have to be blown up if you want to do gargue proper job of copying them. The book appears to have been a labour of love on the part of Graydon and his co-editor,Gerald Ackerman. I had already seen adults make huge strides by using this course in dedicated art curricula, where each student had already identified themselves as artists, but this success was on a different level. It is worth it, however, because the level of detail is much higher than laser copies.
