The flashforward of the book is a leap of 21 years, not 6 months, as in the TV show, which creates a whole other set of ramifications.
I’ve tried to get help for this condition, but so far, no luck. There’s genuine and worthy conflict in here, beneath the layers of exposition. But in eawyer Sawyer does a good job of explaining sawer, and pretty much everything else came across clear and vivid.
No real highs, nor any real lows, just an even ride with a few flashforwaard in the road and sites to see along the journey. Then I reach the end and I feel like it could have been more. The flashforwards are flahforward global event experienced by all of humanity, but were caused by a human experiment and ended up causing, in turn, damage and extensive loss of life.

From what I’ve seen in reviews of his other books, this is something he does often. Drink every time a character ruminates extensively to himself in between the numbers of a countdown. But for what purpose? I liked the book quite a lot.
Lloyd firmly disbelieves in flashfodward will, which comes in handy because it removes his sense of guilt over the death of Michiko’s little girl — it was his experiment, and the idea of fault hangs over his head. Maybe that’s not that far-fetched, but in general I find that we move a lot slower than that. Also, some of the science discussion among the characters I thought was ridiculous.
