Ok so I really like Vicky she is kickass and she can hold her own. There’s culture, family issues, politics, mythology, romance, and more. In this trip, we will also meet Pryce, her half demon cousin who is convinced that destiny will unite them both. But in addition to hellforgd this, the banished Hellion she thought gone, returns to her in the less pleasant way possible.

But the second third sputtered for a minute. The world building is further built upon in Hellforged. Kane is brought into clearer definition, the relationship between Vikky and him now much more clearer and you can understand it that much more.

The story is opened with action, as Vicky tries to destroy Glitch demons. I also like how the story finished but leaves the possibility for sequels. Our ending is explosive and we are left with some unanswered questions that lead us well into the next installment. Vicky witnesses segregation, profiling, and ignorance. May 16 is Firestorm Day! Who are the old ones, and why did they take Pryce with them?

We got very little Gwen hooray! Like I said, Hellforged is great urban fantasy, but that might also be its limitation. That being said however, and I don’t want to sound like a broken record here, but I think things might just be finally changing in that department.

Will definitely read book 3. East Dane Designer Men’s Fashion. Martin novel in which you should give up getting attached to anyone. I must say that once we get into the world of Nancy Holzner we always want more.

The storyline for Hellforged takes Vicky out of Deadtown. All of the characters in the story are interesting.

But the best thing about this book was Vicky herself. Vicky also seems really lonely this book, she isn’t having a good time. I got major hints that I wasn’t the series start when I started reading, but it hasn’t been difficult at all to pick up what’s going on in this second book.

The Welsh mythology is convoluted though and drags the story down in parts as you try to make sense of the past and how Vicky fits into it. Too bad her love life is still far from stellar, but when she reconnects with Aunt Mab in Wales, things heat up.

Hellforged was a respectable enough sequel to Deadtown. If you like books about shapeshifters, zombies, vampires, and other creatures, you should read this. There are still a lot of books she wants to read. There is something sinister going on with The Destroyer. I really enjoyed them, and I strongly suggest this series to anyone who hasn’t read it yet. She annoyed me so much from hellvorged first one, and I hope her future roles are no more important than the one she has now. Holzner further nxncy the history of Vicky’s ancestry, along with the Welsh mythology. All of that was much less prevalent in this book, which is a big plus.

The book begins with Vicky working another case as a demon exterminator. Several readers and friends have alerted me to the fact that some websites are announcing the imminent publication of Firestorm, the sixth and final book in my Deadtown series.

We get to see this when the zombies are killed, Vicky’s interactions with the police, and in Vicky’s dealings with her sister.
