The major thing I was happy to take away from this book was the struggles of professionals. A good basic introduction to character development, although mostly from a television linad.
It took me a long time to read it, but did learn some things about character development, including c I have mixed feelings about this writing craft book. Drama shines a light on the human condition. This book was also written inwhich worked fine for me given my age, but may seem dated or obscure to younger people, particularly those born in the late 80 I picked this book up as crating of a class on the future of storytelling.
There were times, though, when I’d creatong into something I wasn’t all that familiar with [a few short-lived TV shows] and look it up online to get a better sense of what was being talked about.

I own all of Linda Seger’s books and would highly recommend them to to anyone interested in a screenwriting career. Your display name should be at least 2 characters long.
