World of the Lupi 1 – 10 of 14 books. That was a bit disappointing. The fourth story in this anthology, Eileen Wilks’ Loved Human, is fantastic. So she’s leery when Rule Turner, son of the clan’s leader and the closest thing to a werewolf celebrity, agrees to aid her investigation.
As for the actual story before the sweet ending, it was OK. For what it actually was, it was somewhat interesting, but she did much better with the story she ended up with. I am enthralled and excited to start this series after reading the prequel.
The suspense is great – the romance not so much. And sometimes all it takes is one man to tear apart what fate-and desire-have brought together… Under the light of the moon… Investigating a series of grisly murders, a San Diego detective is caught off guard by the enigmatic man helping her find the killer… Click Here to Read Magic in The Wind Chapter 1 Release Date: Customers who viewed this item also viewed.
Eileen Wilks Goodreads Author. She lives in the cliff house and has six sisters, all as mysterious as she. Each character, and each storyline will garner a spot in this reader’s heart long after I’ve moved on to another.
Two people who fell for each other but life kept apart.
Why hasn’t she had psychological care? Damon would have been more interesting if this had been made into a full-length book – I like the idea of a scientist being confronted with magic – but there just wasn’t enough there for a cohesive story. Rule is what you could lvoer call a crhistine for his kind and he is sent to help catch the killer, whether Lily would like the help or not. A departure from Christine Feehan’s ‘dark side’, this short story isn’t about vampires and doesn’t have a gothic flavor.
But a burglar and rapist who’s loose in the area might put a dent in his plans. Please try again later. Lover Beware: Magic In the Wind by Christine Feehan
I’m glad I read it. I usually don’t write much about short stories but had a lot to say about this one. The sex scenes are the same. Anna is called in to help them solve it Just A Little Bit Pregnant. Dec 25, Aly rated it really liked it. Former cop Lily Yu has her sister’s wedding to attend, a missing magical staff to find, and now must bewaer with her grandmother’s decision to return to the old country. I’m glad these two have each other, because I’d hate to think of them christinne inflicted on anyone else.
And not one of the sisters or Damon notices what is right in front of them. Libby Drake chgistine sensible and practical. Looking for a little tingle up your spine? Lover Beware Buy This Book.
With the cliffhanger ending, she not only left the story half-finished but made me so frustrated I don’t plan on reading any more of this series? Four of today’s most popular authors push passion and intrigue to the limit in four thrilling original stories In a sleepy coastal town… Early retirement turns deadly for a defense expert–until a beautiful woman steps between him and his assassins… Among women of the night… An FBI profiler can see into the mind of a French Quarter lovee targeting prostitutes-but not into the heart of the detective she must trust with her life… Between Strangers… Sometimes one glance is all it takes.
This story is about the eldest, Sarah, a security expert who is charged with protecting Damon Wilder, who is being stalked by some people who are after a security device he created. Though the resolution of the suspense plot is somewhat underwhelming, the character work is strong and the chistine ends on a nice surprise note.
Christine Feehan’s Magic in the Wind starts her series about the Drake sisters: An FBI agent who can get into the heads of both the victim and the assailant, goes back to her old home town and lover to help solve a murder. I was thinking of giving this an average rating but after writing my review and thinking back on the story, it’s just not that good.
